Loca11y connects people with disabilities with each other and with inclusive organizations and events in their local community.
Built and maintained by Accessible Community, Loca11y was created by people with disabilities and allies, for people with disabilities.
You can search for events and organizations in your community that support specific disabilities.
Loca11y will let you find accessible locations and events such as:
- Shopping that does not include fragrances
- Playgrounds with ramps
- Restaurants that indicate ingredients (including alcohol) on the menu
- Events with sign language interpreting
- Sensory friendly activities
Privacy
Because we live with disabilities, we understand how important it is to keep your personal information private.
You can sign in and set up an account for you and your family that will make searching easier. We store as little information about you as possible and won’t sell or share your personal information or usage patterns with anyone.
About us
Accessible Community was founded as a nonprofit organization with a board of directors who live with disabilities themselves or with family members who have disabilities. Our board and leaders guide Accessible Community’s work and ensure decisions protect and benefit the disability community.
